CallCheck ("we", "our", "the App") is operated by Idolab. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data the App accesses, how it is used, and your rights.

2. Data We Access

CallCheck accesses the following data on your device to provide its core decision-support functionality:

Call Log: Incoming, outgoing, missed, and rejected call records stored on your device.
Contacts: Saved contact names and phone numbers to identify known callers.
SMS Metadata: Message counts and timestamps (not message content) to assess communication history.

3. Data We Do NOT Collect

CallCheck does not operate a central database. Specifically:

We do not collect, store, or transmit your phone numbers to any server.
We do not build a number database or caller ID service.
We do not read SMS message content.
We do not record or listen to phone calls.
We do not share any personal data with third parties.

4. Web Search Feature

When a call from an unknown number is received, CallCheck may search publicly available web sources for information about the phone number. These searches are performed in real-time and results are not stored on our servers. The search queries contain only the phone number and are sent to public search engines.

5. On-Device Processing

All analysis of device history (call logs, contacts, SMS metadata) is performed entirely on your device. This data never leaves your phone.

6. Subscription & Payment

Payments are processed through Google Play. We do not have access to your payment information (credit card numbers, bank details). Google Play's privacy policy governs payment data handling.

7. Data Retention

Since we do not collect personal data on our servers, there is no data to retain or delete. Uninstalling the App removes all locally stored app data from your device.

8. Children's Privacy

CallCheck is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
